Our FRS Sylt ferries "RömöExpress" and "SyltExpress" shuttle up to 32 times daily between Havneby on Römö and List on Sylt. In summer, the last ferry departs for Römö at 9 pm. This way you can enjoy Sylt particularly long.

What do I have to bear in mind when travelling to Sylt by car?
The most convenient way to buy a ticket is online. However, you can also buy your ticket directly on site at the ticket counter. Please show your ticket at the ticket counter. With a reservation, you can travel directly on board. Our staff will assign you a parking space. Parking is simple and straightforward. Pull the handbrake and put your car in gear. You must leave your car during the crossing. An announcement will tell you when you can re-enter the car decks. Leaving the car ferry is just as easy as driving on board. You don't have to manoeuvre, just drive forward onto the island.
What documents do I need for the crossing to Sylt?
To enter Denmark, you need a valid identity card or passport.

You can also buy a ticket spontaneously at the ticket counter. However, with a free online reservation, you enjoy a guaranteed ride without waiting times.
Can I stay in the car during the crossing to Sylt?

How long before departure do I have to be at the pier?
Plan to arrive at the pier 20-40 minutes before departure. After showing your ticket, you will board the boat directly.
What dimensions may my car have?
There are no size limits for cars on board FRS Syltfähre.
Do passengers in the car cost extra?
All passengers in your vehicle are already included in the price of the crossing.
Bicycle carriers can be carried on the rear of the car up to a total length of 6 metres and on the roof up to a total height of 4.80 m at no extra charge.
What happens if I am too early/too late?
FRS Syltfähre has never "left anyone standing". If there is space, you can also board with your car earlier or later than planned.
