For what and on what legal basis do we process your data (purpose of processing)?

We process personal data in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).


Personal data is processed by us to fulfil contractual obligations in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b. DSGVO processed. This includes in particular:

  • Implementation of the competition,
  • verification of eligibility,
  • determining the winners and, if applicable, sending the prizes,
  • contacting the winner.


In addition, we process your data for the purposes of our legitimate interests according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f. DSGVO

  • to protect our website and IT security and operation.

Furthermore, we process personal data to comply with a legal obligation pursuant to Art. 6 para.1 lit c. DSGVO to ensure adequate security of the data. Is there an obligation to hand over data?

For legally required or contractual requirements, we have marked the respective input fields on our website that are mandatory for you to complete in order to participate in the competition.


What information is processed in the competition?

When you enter the competition, we process the following data:

  • Name and contact details (first name, last name, email address, and if provided, telephone number).

The purpose of processing the data is to fulfil the contractual obligations related to the implementation of the prize draw and to contact you, with your consent, if you win the prize draw.


What data is processed in the prize draw?

When you enter the prize draw, personal data is processed in order to display the content of the website on your device. In order to display the pages in your browser, among other things, the IP address and other information about the browser of the device you are using must be processed.

With regard to data protection, we are committed to ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of your data processed with our IT systems.

For this purpose and based on our legitimate interests in providing a secure and functional website, the following data is processed:

  • IP address of the calling computer (for a maximum of 7 days)
  • Operating system of the calling computer
  • Browser version of the calling computer
  • Name of the retrieved file
  • Date and time of the retrieval
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Referring URL

The data is only stored for as long as is necessary for the above-mentioned purpose and for the detection and correction of errors on the website. A personal reference cannot be created from the data.

Your data will not be passed on to third-party advertising networks.

 

Do third parties see your data and / or have access to it?

As a rule, your personal data will only be disclosed to third parties if this is necessary to carry out the competition with you. The transfer of data is also possible due to a balance of interests according to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO, if we are legally obliged to transfer the data, or with your consent.


How long will your data be stored?

Your data will be stored until you revoke your consent or the purpose of the storage is fulfilled (3 months after the end of the campaign). Any longer storage periods due to mandatory legal requirements remain unaffected.

You can request access to your personal data stored in our company at any time (see contact details above) and, if there is no need for processing, request deletion of the data or restriction of processing.


Where is your data processed?

We process your personal data exclusively in data processing centres in the European Union.


Your rights as a data subject

You have the right to request information about your personal data stored by us at any time. The requirements for verifying your correct identity are strict and we require proof that you are the actual recipient.

You also have the right to rectification, erasure and/or restriction of the processing of your personal data.

In addition, you have the right to object to the use of your personal data, the right to data transfer, including the transfer of your data to another data controller, and you also have rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling.
